How much Deposit will I need for a Buy-To-Let Property

You will be required to pu down a deposit for Buy-to-Let mortgages and this will typically be larger than for a standard residential mortgage – it’s likely to be in the region of 15 – 25% of the property’s value.

 

Can Anyone get a Buy-to-Let Mortgage?

We will be happy to put you in touch with an independant mortgage consultant who will be happy to advise you. Buy-to-Let mortgages are typically arranged based on the investment potential of the property, not your salary. 

 

What Sort of Return can I expect?

Your ‘rental return’ will depend on the property you purchase and the standard of accomodation it offers. Remember your expected rental income must exceed your Buy-to-Let mortgage repayments. Your property may be repossessed if you do not keep up with mortgage payments.
